General Protocol for Games
- Reference "Return to Play" guidelines
- Certified referees may not always be available for the lower age divisions. In such cases it may become necessary for the coaches to referee the games. It is recommended that the coaches each referee one half of the game (thus one referee at a time). While refereeing, coaches should refrain from doing any coaching.
- If certified referees are not available to act as assistant referees, each team should supply a linesman, who should not call any fouls or offside infractions
- A referee may terminate a game that, in his/her opinion is not taking place in an environment suitable for the players or volunteers.
- If one team is short players, the opposing team must play with an equal number of players. In such cases, it may become necessary for one team to "loan" players to the short team in order to meet the minimum requirement that each player play at least two quarters.
- Note: In divisions 12U and above, a game cannot be played unless both teams field at least 7 players at the start of the game
Equipment and Uniforms
- Players are required to practice and play with appropriate shin guards. Shoes with metal cleats are not appropriate and will not be allowed
- Players shall not be allowed to practice or play in any game with any type of cast or splint
- Players shall not wear anything which is dangerous to either themselves or other players, including jewelry.
- Players must wear a matching uniform consisting of jersey, shorts and socks which completely cover the shin guards during the games
Practice Sessions
- Practice sessions shall be limited to 2 days per week. See each age division for maximum duration of each session
